FAQs

What is the difference between a mental health or relational health consultation and therapy?

A consultation is short-term and goal-focused. It’s designed to help you understand a specific issue, recurring conversation, or decision point, and to create a clear plan for moving forward. Therapy, on the other hand, is ongoing and explores deeper patterns, emotions, and experiences over time. Consultations are ideal for targeted guidance, while therapy provides sustained support for broader personal or relational growth.

What are discussion/support groups?

Discussion/support groups are structured spaces where people with shared experiences or goals come together to talk, listen, and learn from each other. The focus isn’t on giving advice or “fixing” problems. Instead, members explore perspectives, share insights, and gain understanding in a safe, supportive environment.
